Brandon Markus is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon. Dr, Markus is one of the only Dermatologists in the area who after completing a Dermatology residency went on the complete a rigorous Fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Facial Reconstruction. Dr. Markus treats patients of all ages for all skin conditions and specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer.
After completing a 2 year service mission in Portugal and Cape Verde West Africa, Brandon Markus graduated cum laude from BYU-Hawaii with a degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Markus worked as a chemist for 2 years after which he pursued his passion of helping other people by completing his medical degree at Midwestern University. Dr. Markus went on to complete his internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and his Dermatology residency at Silver Falls Dermatology in Oregon where he served as chief resident. Dr. Markus is one of the only Fellowship trained Mohs surgeons in the area. He completed a prestigious one year Mohs Fellowship under the direction of Bill Lear, MD where he was trained in the top skin cancer treatment techniques and facial reconstruction.
Dr. Markus has authored multiple articles published in nationally recognized peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He is an active member of both local and national Medical Societies.
Dr. Markus is married to his beautiful wife Melissa and they have 4 children. He loves attending their events and activities. Dr. Markus is a volunteer and sponsor at The Villages Charter School. He enjoys golfing, surfing and traveling.
